Two New Books by Deirdra Eden December 2025

Two New Books by Deirdra Eden

December 2025

Why These Books Matter

These two projects may seem very different—one a ministry tool for those who have experiences abuse or are helping someone who has, the other a rescue story for children—but at their core, they share the same message:

Healing is possible.
Love is transformative.
Compassion saves lives—human and animal alike.

My hope is that these books bring encouragement, insight, and light to those who read them.

ARMED

Abuse Recovery Ministry Education & Discussions

This book has been years in the making, built on my work as a chaplain, advocate, and educator. ARMED is a heartfelt, practical, faith-centered resource designed to help communities recognize, respond to, and heal from abuse—especially the hidden forms that are too often misunderstood or overlooked.

Inside ARMED you’ll find:

  • A ministry-based framework for understanding 17 types of abuse

  • Trauma-informed education for individuals, leaders, and congregations

This book is a thoughtful approach using true Christian principles and trauma informed insights that acknowledges the complexity of abuse in our faith communities.

Baby Biscuits

Many of you followed this rescue story online and at the encouragement of a friend I turned it into a children’s book.

Baby Biscuits is a tender children’s book about hope, healing, and finding family.

This book is a donation and the money from sales goes directly towards helping animals.

This  story is perfect for:

  • Families

  • Classrooms

  • Animal lovers

  • Anyone who needs a reminder that even the smallest souls can overcome the greatest odds
