Conference Weekend. This Saturday and Sunday.
It happens twice a year!
We get to listen to the LIVING prophet and apostles of Jesus Christ as they deliver messages.
Honestly, I think every Christian would agree that with how crazy and scary this world is, we need a prophet here on earth now to help us through all the modern problems.
To listen to the Prophet and Apostles go to www.LDS.org and click on "Watch Conference" You can't miss it. Its a huge button in the middle of the page.
Our family tradition for the holiday is eating snacks, cuddling, and working on quiet projects.
Last night we went to Costco and stocked up on goodies and snacks to rotate out of our 72 hours kits. (And to eat!)
I sure hope I have a enough glue sticks for all the things I want to do.
I'm also going to start on the Forest Chandelier I've been planning to make for a while.
You also get to listen to this world famous choir!
I know some people just sit and watch and enjoy or take notes.
Some families inventory their food storage.
Some go to the temple before the weekend.
What are some of your Conference traditions?
